Exhibitions:
- 2000 – the first exhibition of prints from the ‘Gallery of Eminent People’, the Rudolfinum, Prague
- 2001 – the same exhibition of prints from the ‘Gallery of Eminent People’, the Czech Center, New York City
- 2004 – an exhibition of prints from the ‘Musicians’ category of the ‘Gallery of Eminent People’, together with some of the digitized photos from the Langhans archive, Langhans Gallery Prague
- 2005 – an exhibition of portraits from the ‘Actors’ category of the ‘Gallery of Eminent People’, Západočeská galerie (West Bohemian Gallery), Pilsen, in collaboration with the Theatre Institute, Prague, and Theatre: An International Festival, Pilsen
- 2005 – a repeat of exhibition of prints from the ‘Actors’ category of the ‘Gallery of Eminent People’, Západočeské divadlo (West Bohemian Theatre), Cheb
- 2006 – an exhibition of portraits from the ‘Gallery of Eminent People’, Bank Leu, Zurich
- 2006 – an exhibition of different selection of portraits from the ‘Actors’ category of the ‘Gallery of Eminent People’, Langhans Gallery Prague, and a presentation of the up-dated digital catalogue of the archive, now comprising about 9,000 items
An overview of the main steps taken by the Langhans Prague Foundation so far:
- 2000–01 the whole ‘Gallery of Eminent People’ was identified, the portraits in the archive were documented and catalogued (retaining the original categories of the Ateliér Langhans).
- 2002 the glass negatives were numbered and a large description was compiled.
- 2003 the photos were digitized to obtain an overview of the archive.
- 2003 a special computer program was made for picture and text data relating to the archive.
- 2004 the digitization of the ‘Gallery of Eminent People’ was completed.
- 2005 the glass negatives were deposited in a climate-controlled space with a constant temperature and humidity.
- 2005 to the present: the sitters in the archive are being identified their biographical sketches are being compiled.
